With college sticker prices rising faster than ever, paying for college has gotten more difficult and more complicated. At the same time, there is a huge amount of need- and merit-based financial assistance available, and most families are not paying full price for a college education. In fact, some data shows that net prices have stayed stable or even declined in recent years.
Matthew Greene, co-author of Paying for College: The Greenes' Guide to Financing Higher Education will cover the basics of planning and paying for college, including the general types of aid available, how to take advantage of merit-based financial awards, and the importance of filing financial aid applications. There will be ample time for questions and discussion.
